Casio: First 12-Megapixel Compact camera

Japanase Consumer Electronics giant Casio has released the world’s first 12.1 megapixel compact digital camera. The newest addition to the Casio digital camera family is called Exilim Zoom EX-Z1200 and its resolution is the highest available in any compact digital camera. In 2006 the company released the predecessor to the EX-Z1200, the Exilim Zoom EX-Z1000; back then the first compact digital camera to deliver a 10-megapixel resolution. Read more
