Kodak says Bye bye to flash photography

According to a news report in India’s it magazine SDA, U.S. photo multi Eastman Kodak has developed a camera technology that that does away with the need for flash photography. The sensor technology is part of its effort to make money from its massive patent portfolio. US based Kodak, now transforming into a digital camera company after photographic films sales have come down, says its patented sensor technology increases sensitivity to light.

Image sensors act as a camera’s eyes by converting light into an electric charge to begin the capture process.

Kodak says it can expect up to USD250 million this year alone in royalties and revenues coming from ages old technology.
