Digital photo frame industry these days continue to expand the functionality and versatility of their digital LCD photo frames to new horizons. The last example comes from Ality, tzhe company behind the Wireless PIXXA frame. The Pixxa features Wi-Fi connectivity, instant messaging, automatic news flash and weather reports plus multiple user accounts allowing each member of the family to set-up their own multi-media libraries and personalize preferences.
The Pixxa also enables photos to be sent directly via internet using the instant messenger application which also supports a chat function. Plus: The Live News service facilitates a customized wireless feed direct to the PIXXA frame for news, sports, weather, traffic, entertainment, horoscopes pt business and financial news updates.
The Wireless PIXXA frame will be introduced during the upcoming CES in Las Vegas. Suggested retail price is around $300..
