Mustek PF-E700: Photo Frame w/ Alarm Clock has excellent bedside manners

Mustek just introduced the ultimate bedside companion, the new PF-E700. Designed to save desk space by integrating several functions into one, the PF-E700 is a versatile convergence of digital photo frame with built-in alarm clock, calendar, indoor temperature gauge and MP3 player.
The PF-E700 offers a high-resolution (480 x 234), seven-inch TFT color LCD to view photos from most available memory cards (SD/SDHC/MMC/MS-Pro DUO/CF), as well as videos in AVI and M-JPEG formats. Unlike similar convergence devices, the PF-E700 does not crowd its dedicated photo screen with time, calendar or temperature digits; instead that illuminated information is reversely displayed on the bottom of the player to maximize space for photography appreciation. Photos can be viewed individually or in auto slideshow mode with multiple transitions on the full screen or in split windows.
Plus: The dual “snooze” alarm clock helps wake the user up alert and aware of the time, temperature and date. The backlight can be selected as continuous, an important advantage in early morning darkness.
The PF-E700 is expected to ship in April with an MSRP of $149.99 (U.S).
