Pinnacle: Special Edition of Pinnacle Studio Video Editing Software

Pinnacle Systems, Inc., the consumer division of Avid Technology, Inc. just announced teh release its popular Studio video editing software in a special edition for digital camera owners as well as camcorder owners interested in photo slideshows.

The so called “Pinnacle Studio™ Plus v.11 `Extreme Photo Edition” combines photo slideshow creation tools with the advanced video editing features of Pinnacle Studio Plus v.11.

Teh company calls this the “ideal choice for digital camera and mobile phone users – enabling them to produce both dramatic photo slideshows with motion effects and high-quality movies that combine video with photos.”

A recent survey by Pinnacle Systems found that for 50% of consumers who are interested in video editing, but currently don’t use any software, digital cameras are their primary source for capturing video versus 33%who said camcorders are their primary source.
