Toshiba, being the genius it is when it comes to developing technology that always has something more to offer, just introduced the IK-HD1, it’s 3CCD HDTV Camera at the NAB Show in Las Vegas.
The camera, apart from being famous for being the smallest HD camera out there, measuring only 1.6 inches and weighing 2.3 o.z, it also comes with an ultra compact control unit that makes it perfect for imaging tasks when you’re trying to make the best of little space.
The good news is that it is also affordably priced, so we know that the exhibition is not the last we’re seeing it in. It uses Toshiba’s proprietory 3CCD prism technology which helps it give that bright contrast and extraordinary detail to everything you point and shoot.
Features include 1920 (H) x 1080 (V) resolution at 30 frames per second. So you can be sure that you’ve got a neat and convenient bet in your hands whether you’re just shooting a prank you’re playing on someone at school or shooting a major news broadcast for the best news channel in the world.
The photographers are sure massaging their shoulders, smiling at the thought of all that weight off their hands.
