Eye-Fi: Add WiFi to your digital camera


Digital cameras equipped with wireless internet (WiFi) capabilities are are nothing new, with several major manufacturers such as Nikon, Canon or Kodak offering the feature as a means of uploading photos to the web on the go. So far these cameras were pretty expensive and there was no way to add WiFi capability to older cameras. The good news now comes from a small Silicon Valley-company called Eye-fi which has developped a Wi-Fi enabled SD card with built-in memory. Read more

Flickr adds new languages

Flickr, one of the world’s leading online photo-sharing communities, just announced they launched flickr.com in seven additional languages. According to the Yahoo-owned company over half of Flickr members already use Flickr in regions outside the United States. The new language support should bring the Flickr community to even more people around the world. Read more
