It’s not a confirmation or anything like that. The anonymous source, bless him, has added some tidbits to the earlier announcement, which was slightly cryptic. For instance, “120Hz” is clarified to 120 full frames, but the camera will supposedly be limited to 60. Why? No one knows.

Vivid is widely recognized as the world’s leading adult film company, with iconic Vivid Girl stars such as Jenna Jameson, Tera Patrick, Ginger Lynn, Christy Canyon, Sunny Leone, Nikki Jayne, Hanna Hilton, Savanna Samson, Monique Alexander, Meggan Mallone and many others.

An opening reception party takes place on Valentine’s Day, Saturday, February 14 from 7PM – 11PM, with an open cocktail bar at which guests will be able to meet Vivid Girls. Guests will also enjoy a screening of excerpts from “Deeper Throat” Vivid’s third premium cable TV series which debuts that evening.
A free star-studded Vivid panel discussion will be offered along with the exhibit on Thursday, Feb. 19th starting at 7pm and followed by a party with an open bar to meet the presenters. The panel will be hosted by World of Wonder co-founder Fenton Bailey (co-director of Inside Deep throat; co-executive producer of Pornography: A Secret History of Civilisation) Topics include:
-

How Vivid became the world’s top adult studio offered by the company’s co-founder and co-chairman Steven Hirsch;
-

How to direct an adult movie, presented by legendary director Paul Thomas and
- What it takes to be an adult superstar with inside tips from Vivid Girls.

RSVP for media for the Feb. 14th opening party or the Feb. 19th panel, contact Jackie@vivid.com.

RSVP for non-media attendees is Thairin Smothers at gallery@worldofwonder.net. Please specify which event you will be attending. All guests need to be 18-years-of-age or older.

“Vivid revolutionized the adult film industry – bringing high production quality to adult films for the first time and creating some of the most iconic names in pop culture by cultivating the careers of stars like Jameson and Lynn,” said WoW founders Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato. “Vivid had a dramatic impact on the industry with its very first movie, “Ginger,” starring Ginger Lynn in 1984. Until “Ginger” most adult movies were marketed with explicit images on their VHS covers, and as a result were hidden from view by retailers. Vivid changed all that with beautifully designed covers that had strong mainstream appeal and showed gorgeous women, glamorous photography and stylish art direction. Of course, it wasn’t long before most other companies in the industry followed Vivid. Our exhibit will focus on the greatest covers of the past quarter century and compelling behind-the-scenes photos from Vivid Entertainment, Vivid-Alt and Vivid Men movies and many are truly works of art.”

Since its founding by Steven Hirsch and David James, Vivid has led the adult industry to an unprecedented level of mainstream media acceptance. By emphasizing its famous “Vivid Girls,” the elite among adult actresses, Vivid has established a clear brand name identity. It has solidified its strong leadership position in domestic U.S. adult video sales and rentals, expanded the market by producing films enjoyed by couples in addition to the traditional male audience, and developed diverse revenue streams in international markets. The company is unequaled in mastering fast-growing areas such as wireless communications and video-on-demand (VOD). It was the first to introduce movies in both HD DVD and Blu-Ray formats with its production of “Debbie Does Dallas…Again.” Vivid movies and talent have won more AVN Awards than those of any other adult film company.

Mr. Hirsch continued to differentiate Vivid in a crowded market with compelling cut-through-the-clutter cover girl packaging for its video box covers. He also pioneered the “Vivid Girl” concept, early on which revived the Hollywood studio system of signing the most beautiful and talented adult stars to exclusive contracts. He then made the faces of Vivid Girls familiar through billboards in high traffic venues such as Sunset Boulevard and Times Square and through advertising, publishing, marketing and extensive product licensing.

A portion of the profits from the sale of any of the photo art from this exhibit will be donated to AIM (Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation). AIM is a non-profit corporation which cares for the physical and emotional needs of sex workers and those who work in the adult entertainment industry through HIV and STD testing, treatment, counseling and support services.

The exhibition was co-curated by Thairin Smothers, James St. James and Steven Corfe.

“We’re looking forward immensely to unveiling this show where porn meets art. Having the Vivid Girls in attendance is going to make it an exciting and beautiful event,” said Mr. St. James.

Note: Photos from the exhibit are available upon request at jackie@vivid.com.

About World of Wonder:

Since then the company has amassed a library of branded properties across all platforms, including such well known films as Party Monster, The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Inside Deep Throat, and television shows Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, Pam: Girl on the Loose, Million Dollar Listing, RuPaul’s Drag Race and entertainment blog The WOW Report (worldofwonder.net).

Industry Sales Up 19% in April; Growth in Online Ordering with Mail Delivery Continues to Outpace Kiosk Processing

    ATLANTA, July 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — myPhotopipe.com, Inc. (Pink
Sheets: MPPC), a web-based online provider of digital photo processing and
related services, today announced that industry data released this week by
PMA, a trade organization of photo manufacturers and retailers, reports
that the number of prints made from digital photos continued to grow at
double-digit percentage rates during April 2008.

The report also shows that growth in online ordering with mail delivery
again outpaced all other methods of ordering prints, including in-store
kiosks and other retail models. According to the PMA report, the number of
prints made from digital photos increased 19% in April 2008 versus
prior-year levels, while online ordering with home delivery rose 37%. The
share-of-market for online ordering with mail delivery grew to 16.5
percent, or about one out every six prints made from digital images. Kiosks
were flat at 14.8%, the second consecutive month where they fell behind
online.

“Photography has interlocking links that spread across the Web in ways
that keep people on their computers and within the Internet like no other
retail product,” stated L. Douglas Keeney, Chief Executive Officer of
myPhotopipe.com, Inc. “Photography has become more computer- and
online-centric than most people realize, and we think that means important
things to our future. We get advice instantly from blogs and forums. We
share photographs on Facebook and mySpace and flickr. We organize photos
with Google’s Picasa, and we use services like Blurb to make our
photobooks, SmugMug to host our professional events, and jalbum to skin our
own websites. And that’s not counting all of the resources online that
touch our world of digital images.”

Keeney confirmed that myPhotopipe.com had an excellent April as well,
paralleling the industry’s overall growth. “Our sales rose 26% versus
year-ago levels in a month when the industry was up 19%. This reflects the
power of the professional photographer. Professional photographers
generally lagged the consumer in the adoption of digital cameras, waiting
for higher quality models to reach the market. Then they again lagged
consumers as they integrated digital management into their workflow. When
they finally turned to online services, they found soccer mom web sites and
photo mousepads. myPhotopipe.com believes professional photographers do not
spend upwards of $4,000 on digital cameras to make photo t-shirts.
myPhotopipe.com is a ‘pure play’ online photo processor for digital
photographers. We offer more than 1,000 print options in five substrates,
but no mousepads,” concluded Keeney.

    About myPhotopipe.com, Inc.

myPhotopipe.com, Inc. is a web-based online provider of digital photo
processing, photo finishing, photo sharing, and related services. The
inspections and professional color management, have positioned
myPhotopipe.com as one of the fastest-growing providers of digital
photography services for professionals and serious amateurs.

NEW YORK, July 1 /PRNewswire/ — Fotolog (http://www.fotolog.com), the 4th
most-trafficked social network in the world(1), announced today the
worldwide launch of its mobile service. Fotolog’s mobile service –
accessible at m.fotolog.com — will enable the site’s community of more
than 18 million member accounts in more than 200 countries around the world
to access Fotolog.com using any phone’s mobile browser.

“Taking one of the world’s largest and most-active social networks to
the mobile Internet is very exciting,” said Cyril Zimmermann, CEO of
Fotolog’s parent company, Hi-Media Group. “Fotolog members get a powerful
tool that fits the way they live and communicate, while we take another big
step toward our vision of providing integrated online media solutions
spanning publishing, advertising, payments and mobile solutions.”

Fotolog’s mobile service allows members to use their phones to upload
photos to their personal Fotolog pages, see who is posting messages to
their guest books and leave messages for their friends. The service is
available in seven languages including English, French, German, Portuguese,
Spanish, Swedish and Dutch.

The launch of Fotolog’s mobile service is the first major milestone
after the acquisition of the French mobile internet and SMS payments
specialist, Mobile Trend, by Hi-Media, which was announced on June 24, 2008
http://www.hi-media.com/visu_uk/corporate/080625.php. The acquisition,
which marked Hi-Media’s entry into the multi-media mobile Internet market,
enables the company to:

    — strengthen the leadership of Hi-Media’s Allopass micropayments
business, Europe’s number one micro-payments network;

    — expand the presence in the emerging mobile advertising market of
Europe’s third-largest online advertising network, Hi-Media Network;

    — and, integrate mobile solutions into the web properties of Hi-Media
Publishing, one of the world’s top-100 web publishers, while developing
stand- alone mobile sites.

“The Mobile Trend acquisition was strategic and will create value
across Hi-Media Group for users, partners, shareholders, and employees
worldwide,” said Mr. Zimmermann. “Launching Fotolog’s mobile service
illustrates the power of the integrated model we have created and is just
the first result of many more to come in the mobile arena.”
